You’ll learn Navigating Challenging Dialogue® (NCD), the NCD Process, and the NCD Principles. These are proven tools for effective, fact-based dialogue, even when communication feels risky. Learn to create connections and achieve results through clear, empathetic communication.
You’ll leave class able to apply your new skills immediately.

  • Logistics

  • You'll work on your own in this self-paced class, which will be open for 4 months. 
  • Instructors will provide written feedback and guidance to posted questions and submitted assignments. (Everything is reviewed by us! There is no auto-grading.)
  • All assignments must be completed within the enrollment period. (Approx. 10 hours of coursework.)
  • A certificate is awarded upon successful completion of all obligations within the enrollment period.

By Design, This Is Not a Typical Class Where You Sit Back and Listen to the Instructor

This independent study class is experiential. You must write-up 2 scenarios of your own to learn and practice the NCD Process.

Each scenario will describe a conversation you'll be having with one specific person. This should be a conversation that you anticipate may be challenging or which you've been dreading.

You’ll be using your own experiences and specific challenges. 

With each assignment, you're asked to use your own scenarios and apply the NCD Process, to learn to:

Navigate difficult conversations with fact-based dialogue.
Improve trust, build connection.
Establish, or preserve, a healthier relationship with the other party.

 By design, this is not a typical Class where you sit back and listen to the instructor.
This class is experiential and you will be practicing the tools, using your own, personal challenging conversations during the assignments and activities. Coursework will take approximately 16 hours.
 
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must be received in writing at least 10 days from start of workshop. Please send via email to support@ncdprocess.com. Cancellations received less than 10 days from the workshop’s start date will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and money may be transferable to a future event. Cancellations less than 48 hours will not be refunded. Beth Wonson & Company reserves the right to postpone the workshop based on extenuating circumstances resulting from government mandates and/or the pandemic.
